Your CSP Subgrant application will be evaluated by a Peer Review Committee to ensure a fair and thorough review. Each application is assessed using a scoring rubric that measures clarity, quality, and completeness. The review process also considers how well your proposed plans align with program goals and whether they are feasible and sustainable.
Who Reviews Your Application?
The Peer Review Committee is made up of experts in charter school operations, governance, law, authorization, and parent engagement. To be considered for funding, applicants must earn at least 90 out of 102 possible points. Each section of the application outlines required elements, with points divided into base and competitive preference categories. The Scoring Rubric provides specific details on how applications are evaluated.
How Your Application Is Scored
Reviewers evaluate strategies that promote equity and accessibility, ensuring that all students, including those from underserved populations, are considered. Your governance structure and financial management plans will also be carefully reviewed. Scores are assigned based on the evidence provided in your application, using the rubric as a guide.
