Biography

Amy graduated from Illinois State University with her B.S. in Family Consumer Science. She worked for American Eagle Outfitters for 15 years before switching to education.  Currently, she is the Development and Compliance Administrator at Gateway Academy. She has been a part of USBE’s Portrait of a Graduate, Portrait of a First-Year Teacher, and the Educator Evaluation Redesign. She completed her Master's in Public Administration from Southern Utah University. Amy is passionate about student success and believes education should focus on the whole child’s educational experience through individualized education, character development, practical life skills, and extracurricular activities.
